MAIN MISSIONS:  
 

The incumbent handles the missions of:  
 

* Financial Management and Control: responsible for the global animation of financial cycles within Central Europe Sub-Region (budget, financial estimates, closing); monitors convergence to financial targets and raises alerts in case of deviations.
* Data collection & analysis: he/she ensures the reliability, timeliness & accuracy of consolidation & management data (monthly closing, short term estimate, estimates & budget).
* Policy implementation: contributes to the deployment and formal implementation of corporate guidelines, standards and procedures through the Sub-Region subsidiaries; supports the set-up of new methodologies, taking advantage of local practices as well as corporate expertise.
* Internal control: he/she tracks the progress of internal audit action plans, identified by Internal Audit team, within the Central Europe Sub-region subsidiaries. -
* Leadership & Direction: he/she manages output delivery for the sub-region scope by organizing and sometimes leading the contribution from various stakeholders; the incumbent animates the financial community of the sub-region; he/she ensures the proper staffing and on-boarding of new comers, the sharing of best practices; he/she supports potential management development initiatives in link with career paths;
* Internal customers Management: he/she provides relevant set of analysis to Central Europe Sub Region Commercial Leader to optimize the overall performance of the Sub-Region and support business needs.

* Hungary & Ex-Yougo countries (Albania, BH, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia)
* Czech Republic & Slovakia
* Romania (+Moldavia) & Bulgaria
   
   

Most countries are organized by business units by species (Companion animals, Ruminant, Swine and Poultry). 
 

  
 

JOB CONTEXT & MAIN STAKES:  
 

* He/she is a member of the Management team for Central Europe Sub-region Operations and as such reports in solid line to the Sub-region Commercial Lead (to be discussed & adapted depending on the location & profile).
* He/she is also in tight relations with the Europe Zone Controller to whom he/she reports in dotted line.
* He/she works in close relationships with the country CFOs of Central Europe and their teams, a community that he/she has to animate through a strong functional link.
   

  
 

MAIN OBJECTIVES:  
 

* Act as a Business Partner of the Sub-Region director: provide Sub Region Commercial Leader with a comprehensive view of business financial stakes and recommendations, supported by consistent dashboards, in order to ensure global achievement of short and mid-term goals; assess business risks and anticipate alerts; through proper analysis and advice, contribute to the sustainable growth of the scope.
* Be the guardian of the rules: together with the Zone Controller, monitor the compliance of local practices, rules & processes with the principle of segregation of duties and with Group policies, standards & procedures; ensure proper data overall collection & analysis; bear the voice of the Area finance functions towards Central Europe countries operational teams to ensure that targets & guidelines are met.
* Animate the financial teams of Central Europe: ensure the proper deployment of procedures, standards and best practices across Central Europe organizations; support local finance teams (especially new comers) on all financial topics; reinforce the community spirit through regular actions & sharing.

  
 

AREAS OF DECISION:  
 

* Through his/her daily work, the incumbent monitors the achievement of performance targets set for the Sub Regionand therefore provides Central Europe Commercial Leader with any analysis/advice supporting decisionmaking.
* With the Europe Zone controller, he/she plays a key role in the deployment of corporate standards & procedures and monitors their implementation by the Central Europe subsidiaries.
* He/she is fully empowered to report to the Zone Controller and corporate functions any local practice which is not compliant with corporate guidelines and policies.
